Today I found the time to read through Roger's memories and I have to admit I was blown away.
I mean, since 1983 I think I read almost everything that was ever written about The Cure, but this is really super interesting. I never found such a detailed description of how The Cure really were, and I never had such a good feeling to really believe the words I was reading... If you know what I mean

?
The report brought back many of my own memories how I experienced The Cure from 1988 until 1990 myself, the highlight of course the release of the Disintegration album itself. And it offers very interesting perspectives on songs and many details we only knew in bits over the years.
I have never been that stupid type of Cure fans who were following the band everyhwere by car, ignoring all traffic rules

, being totally crazy and wishing to know every single detail of the heroes (forgetting that they are human beings and need some space and air to breathe). And I met a LOT of those over the years

.
But I would love to read more such reports, from all periods, all albums, all band constellations, just to deepen my picture of the music and our favorite band!
Thank you very much Roger!!
Cheers,
ceho
