One year after the release of 4:13 Dream, what can you say about it? Are you still listening to it? Does it have the same effect on you? Which songs grow on you with time and which ones were a flop, after all?
Time to clean the house, people..c'mon give us your impressions on it

One year after... I don't listen to the album unless forced.
Still into one song, the rest doesn't have the same magic other Cure songs still have on me.
Its' true, I'm not listening to it anymore, at least not in integral auditions... As always, I love to listen songs in a separate way, here and there, randomly... Snow White still is the best one for me, nothing changed about it. Oh, and This. Here and Now.With You still is one of their weakest moments to me..
But one thing I have to say: I'm glad the band did it and very happy it came out.. In a period that everybody is coming from darkness and making Reunite Tour attempts (What's the color of money..?) and others are doing nothing more than releasing Best of and Live albums, RS and the others showed that they are still alive and made an Album quite well received everywhere... Okay, it wasn't a money-maker but that, WE KNOW is not related with product quality, right?

It's a good point.
Still I believe they can do better than that, they have so much potential. Even in this album you can somehow see it (looking really very deep ), for me what really doesn't work is the fact that is a pop album, and that it's over produced, too much effects everywhere.
I don't mind it. It's not a great album, but it still has its moments. I still like the same songs I liked one year ago (UTS, Reasons why, Snow white, Hungry ghost, Switch, Perfect boy...) and I still dislike the same songs. Nothing truly remarkable actually.

Freakshow and Sleep When I'm Dead have grown on me. I still wish he'd done them a little differently (I cringe at the first couple of bars of Freakshow as he sings in the same dissonent opening notes.)
Snow White and This Here and Now With You will probably never see airplay on my ipod again. I just really hate those songs.
I play The Only One less often and The Reasons Why a little more often than I used to.
Hungry Ghost is hit or miss. I really like the live version better. He's just too happy and excited about the subject matter on the studio version.
Underneath the Stars, (and now The Reasons Why), Switch, The Scream, and It's Over are epic tracks for me.
All in all - much better and interesting than The Cure cd of 2004. In general, the lyrics have held my interest more on 4:13 and that's made a difference.
I really like 4:13 Dream.
It's not in my top 5 Cure albums, but I think its a pretty good album.
My favourite song when it first came out was The Real Snow White, and that hasn't changed.
I lke it a little more then I did when it was new
I like the album. Snow White is a blast to listen to and This here with you and now si also my favourite. Maybe itīs sort of incomplete without itīs dark half?
I still think its ok. Like skuld says though, it feels like it had more potential. They showed us they still had it, but put some filler in there. The same songs i latched on to when i first heard it are still the songs i play now. (Apart from Switch which really grew on me.) Lyrically i still think its the best thing since 2000.

I still like it=) and still put this cd in my player ocassionally - and it means a lot, 'cause lately (well, for the last four years) I'm a little obsessed with live Cure recordings so the albums stay on the shelf... for now, the other exception being '"Disintegration" =)
