The 13th is a unique song, that´s a fact but I can't take it seriously, I'm afraid. Used to dislike it a lot but nowadays I respect it, which is not bad I think
It's a very brave song, and a big hurrah to the band for having the balls to released it as a first single. It was commercial suicide, of course, and they knew it from the beginning, I am sure. Running from the conventional is a great virtue

The 13th song is one from first songs which I heard from them, cause my first cd from them was Galore and I love it. It's one funny and nice song in great cure style

I voted for This is a Lie. Violin(or whatever) in this song is just beautiful. And lyrics are great too.
By the way, who exactly wrote this song? Roger?

Pretty sure Robert wrote the lyrics (check the interview from Pop Magazine, May 1996), but I'm not so sure who wrote the music...the bulk of it anyway.

Weeeell, not always. He didn't write all the lyrics for the Disintegration album, for instance. I've even heard he only wrote half of the songs, but he might have been talking about the music. Still don't know if he wrote Untitled (Roger wrote the music), I need to know in what direction I'm supposed to do this every morning: . Love those lyrics.

Yes, RS said, that he wrote music for about six songs from Disintegration.
As far I know, Roger wrote music for Untitled with Simon.
