I finally have found, who wrote music for This is a Lie.

This guy is.... Perry Bamonte!

From English Wikpedia:
Quote:
He has been credited for writing the music for the songs "Trust" from Wish, "This Is a Lie" from Wild Mood Swings, and "Anniversary" from The Cure.
Thank you, Perry...

Want - Beautiful introduction, great song. Reminds me of something... Associates with storm.
Club America - Crazy song, but not the best.
This is a lie - Mmm, romantic song with violin playing. But I can't say I love it.
13th - Though I don't like latino, this song pleases me. This is so skittish!
Strange attraction - Pop, but pretty song. The Cure, as ever, come in with good pop songs that are not incredibly pop.)
Mint car - Again not good song, in my opinion. The previous one was much better!
Jupiter crash - One of the most fortunate songs from this album. Why are not good songs released as the singles while others, much better, are "unpopular"?
Round & round & round - The same feeling as from "Mint car".
Gone! - This is another matter! Great!
Numb - This song has something from modern alternative rock, on the one hand, but on the other hand, it is quite romanic and sounds like turning the world over.
Return - Again uninteresting track.
Trap - The same as for "Numb".
Treasure - Mmm, it's like "This is a lie"!
Bare - Now I understand why this album is entitled as it entitled...

I heard that after this album The Cure had begun to lose their popularity. I guess why. "Wild mood swings" is not so fortunate album (it is like going to modern alternative music, excuse me for such opinion), I think, though there are some good songs, Want, Jupiter Crash and Strange Attraction (the most interesting ones). To the other hand, the main good character of the album is that Robert sings in another manner (the name of album as if says about it) and he should be given his due.

I like no one b-side from this album. Voted for "Want" - the best song from it, in my opinion.

I voted for Strange Attraction, I love to sing the song, well at least a valiant attempt at singing lol I think I like this album a lot, sure it has it's faults. But it was one of the first few Cure releases I had got, along with The Top, Japanese Whispers, and Faith. I had not really heard any of Disintegration, Wish, etc. There wasn't much of an internet at this time so I could just google "the best Cure album" or something, and I couldn't afford much so i bought WMS because it was the most recent and I felt I had heard a good deal of the band's earlier albums. I really cherish WMS though. It's one of the few Cure albums were you really can say every song belongs on it, even if only because they are so spastic and quirky. I think if it came out in 1994 with the title "Second Wishes" or something, it would have sold 5 million records and be heralded as one of The Cure's masterpieces. It's just timing, The Cure spent the longest amount of time inbetween albums for WMS since the start of their career and the music industry was changing and the styles of music, and it was like "hey it's 1996 and The Cure hasn't put out a new song in 3 years, the 80s are definitely over...lets move on" but I would definitely say its in my top 5 Cure albums and it blows away the self-titled and 4:13 dream. in my opinion
