I would like this as much as the 4th cd of JTD compilation... Because of those The Cure b-sides and extra-tracks...
The outtake of ABINK is also nothing compared to the live version. Hope a more decent final version comes out.
But the b-sides of 4:13 are very good

Oh, and Love's great!

humm even with that, this disc would be clearly better than the 4th, I think..
Tracks 2, 3, 4, 7, 13, 14, 15, 16 would be ace!
ah ok, and 10 too.. :|

ok, better than the 4 disc of JTD, you're right. That disc isn't that good, really. And in this list there are much better songs. I was being unfair

Thing is I love those extra tracks of the self titled...just imagine if Ross would put them on the common version of 'The Cure' album!

To me the 4th CD is the one with the most unity on it . They are pitiful end tracks (A forest remix grrrr, Just say yes (even If I love Curve, and the two signal to noise) but the other tracks are amazing, I love the Cure electronic side ... so : for me , Possesion is haunting and is one my TOP 20 Cure songs along with Coming up and his violent mood. on wild mood great poppy bsides too even if it's a little too compressed : more than this is caressing and the Wrong Number remix, I prefer it than the original, a disgusting ambient dance trance feeling that make me float for 8 minutes.
The other fact that this disc haunt me is that I discovered two years ago, in a sweet and mysterious Botanic garden in Montpellier, and I associates images of this spring shiny and hot afternoon, sit in the grass... and associate the intro of "Possession" to the bamboo forest, and "Wrong number" to the large old greenhouse, with her glass facade. Theses moments gave image, color and unity to this album, that's maybe why a lot of people don't like it. The Others CD are very very cool too, but a bit too long for me (the second for example) Great highlights are "Fear of ghosts", "Babble", "Hello i love you (ambient version)", "Lament", "Harold and Joe" "Young Americans" (HOULA ! Steve won't be agree with me ... sorry man) But SO MUCH good things on all theses CD in hte 1st , the Second and third , I just cannot say the ones I love..... "Man in my mouth", "snow in summer"

- "Human voice ..., everything that's in your imagination, you can produce on here ... by what we call "Sampling" and you can assign any of your samples to any part of the keyboard. And everything you do, you can store it on this floppy disk ...
