Aye, Porl's certainly does sound thin and wafery for what it is. Its a semi-acoustic, should be BIG and uncompromising.
Perry's guitars on the whole sounded better. Im glad Simon sticks with the Thunderbird and not that Schecter bass in the adverts.
I think Robert's guitar is alright though, like shaking*like*milk said, when you play em with no effects, they sound really nice. Bob don't do it justice onstage.

porl doesn't even need a semiacoustic - he is just drowning it in cheezefest effects anyway. a chinese cheapo would do fine for that  . I wonder what kind of effets he has just so I can avoid buying them...

Hahah, i think its phaser he uses ALL the time, he used it loads in the Orange film and i hate it there, but that was the 80's so i guess you can let him off there
