Farscape is amazing because it's boring and dragging forever.

I used to fall asleep with it. I heard it on the radio last year, in July at 2 am in the night, and the speaker didn't say exactly who is this so I turned Internet inside out, I remembered only name Lisa Gerrard, but I misspelled it and there was no result. For a week I walked around wretched, with this music in my mind not knowing who plays them. A week later in the night they said the album title and I was caught for 2 months. Have seen Lorelei, it's great...

If you heard one Klaus Schulze song...you heard his whole life-work
I don't use to fall asleep with boring music...but I use to be very angry.
I have a few CD what I hate. For example STEVEN SEVERIN's albums.
I love Lisa Gerrard. I have a huge DCD / Lisa / Brendan collection. Lisa Gerrard is very productive. She has an extensive life-work...but there are a few boring works...like these collaborating works with Klaus Schulze.

I received PIANO MAGIC's brand new CD entitled OVATIONS. It's great!
It remembers me DCD, AND ALSO THE TREES, CURE, NEW ORDER, CRANBERRIES (!)...and some vocals sounds like Ian Curtis.

I listened the studio version of 'Desert song' (performed by Michael Edwards and Lisa Gerrard)...a beautiful song.

Brendan's new album (called: ARK) will be released in (early) 2010.
You can see a short film of making the album on http://ark.brendan-perry.com/
You can hear the new songs: 'Crescent', 'Babylon' (aka 'Saffron'), new version of 'Utopia' with few overdubs...and the others. The album is very electronic...but interesting.

---------------------
And Lisa Gerrard...

You will able to download and buy brand new materials from her website...soon (the checkout doesn't work yet).
-COME QUIETLY (download only) 10$
-BALIBO (alternative score, download only) 15$
-BLACK OPAL (download) 20$

-BLACK OPAL (CD, standard edition) 30$
-BLACK OPAL (CD, deluxe edition with DVD video of 'Serpent and the dove') 45$

The album contains 'Black forest' and 'The maharaja'. These songs were played on her concerts.
You can listen excerpts from those songs. COME QUIETLY is excellent.
BALIBO (alt. score) is better than the original CD...and BLACK OPAL is excellent. Very modern...a few songs written in ALI scores' style. Some songs contain english lyrics.

I downloaded COME QUIETLY and BALIBO. This version of BALIBO is better then the CD.

I've ordered the deluxe edition of BLACK OPAL...the price of the CD is high...and the price doesn't contain the postal charges

great collection...but just a point: as far as i know "THIS MORTAL COIL" was a 4AD project, not really a collaboration, melting some of the band they had under contract (Cindytalk; Coctau Twins; Dead Can Dance and some other maybe)

My fav Dead Can Dance is Serpent's Egg, the whole album is fantastc
This Mortal Coil, all the albums are great, but It'll End in tears is my fav

Yeah...you are right...THIS MORTAL COIL was a 4AD project...but there are three songs:
-Waves become wings (accordion, vocals: Lisa Gerrard)
-Barramundi (guitars, dx7: Simon Raymonde; looped accordion: Lisa Gerrard) *
-Dreams made flesh (yang t'chin, vocals: Lisa Gerrard; bass drone, drum: Brendan Perry)

* It's a collaborative song
